Michael Andersen

Michael Andersen is the head of research at Nationalmuseet. Michael has also taught at the British International School in Kurdistan and at the University of Copenhagen - Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies (ToRS). In addition, they have participated in two research projects: the Rural Islamic Syria Project and the Danish-Jordanian Islamic Jarash Project. Prior to their current position, Michael was a sales assistant at Q8 Kuwait Petroleum (Danmark) A/S.

Michael Andersen has a Master's degree in Contemporary Middle East studies from Syddansk Universitet / University of Southern Denmark and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Nærorientalsk Arkæologi from Københavns Universitet / University of Copenhagen.
