Danielle Forward is an accomplished leader in tech and design with a strong focus on empowering Indigenous communities. As the CEO and Founder of Natives Rising since December 2016, Danielle has dedicated efforts to fostering mentorship, community, and wellness education within Indigenous tech professionals and entrepreneurs. In addition, Danielle founded NationSwell in February 2025 and serves as a council member, contributing to social impact initiatives. Previous experience includes roles at Tinycare as Chief of Staff and Head of Product & Marketing, and various product design positions at Facebook, where Danielle focused on social impact, network connectivity, and financial access in emerging markets. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interaction Design from California College of the Arts and multiple Associate of Arts degrees from Santa Rosa Junior College.
