April VanDervort is a retired Financial Services Executive with extensive leadership experience in the life and annuity operations sector. At Nationwide from June 2006 until retirement, April held the role of VP, Life & Annuity Operations, overseeing a team of 500 associates while ensuring excellent customer experiences and meeting regulatory requirements. Previously, April served as VP of the Nationwide Business Solutions Group, spearheading corporate and bank-owned life insurance operations, product development, and customer retention. Prior to Nationwide, April was Assistant Vice President at Nationwide Financial, directing operations for corporate and bank-owned life insurance, and began a career at Prudential Financial as an Associate Manager. April holds an MBA in Marketing and a BBA in Business Administration and Management from Middle Tennessee State University.
