Phil Hamlin

Phil Hamlin is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering, innovation delivery, and application management at Nationwide since July 2005. Currently serving as Associate Vice President, Software Engineering, Innovation Delivery, Phil is responsible for technology delivery across Nationwide's innovation initiatives, including the adoption of Generative AI. Previous roles include Director of Software Engineering Product Management and Transformational Innovation Engineering Leader, focusing on lifecycle technology leadership and high-performing engineering team development. Prior to Nationwide, Phil held positions at Caster Ventures, ICC Consulting, TDCI Consulting, Probate Court of Cuyahoga County, and Brulant Consulting. Phil holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Ohio State University and a BA in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University.
