Andy Fayle

Andy Fayle has a diverse work experience in various design and strategy roles. Andy currently works as a Strategy Director at Native Design since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Plan Strategic as an Associate Director from January 2020 to January 2023, and as a Senior Consultant from February 2019 to January 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, Andy worked as a Design Director at Alloy - Experience led design, where they led creative teams, formulated project methodologies, and created briefs and proposals for clients such as Avid, BT, Deutsche Telekom, PepsiCo, Raymarine, and Samsung. Andy also served as an Employee elected Director and a Designer during their tenure.

Before that, Andy worked at JCB as a Senior Industrial Designer, Industrial Designer, and Design Engineer. At JCB, they conceptualized and delivered design solutions for construction machinery, implemented user-centered processes, and ensured that engineering output met standards and customer requirements.

Andy also gained experience as a Freelance Product Designer at Pestfree Environmental Service, where they conceptualized and developed new product ideas through 3D CAD production release. Additionally, Andy worked briefly as a Product Designer at Dyson and gained experience as a Design Engineer - Placement at Schefenacker Vision Systems.

Andy Fayle obtained a BSc in Product Design from Brunel University London, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Andy also holds additional certifications, including the Chartered Product Designer (CTPD) from the Institute of Engineering Designers (IED) in 2018, the Incorporated Engineer (IEng) from the IED in 2010, and several business-related certifications from various institutions such as University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Cranfield School of Management, and IDEO U.
