Ben Cotton

Technology Director at Native Design

Ben Cotton has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Ben is currently working as the Technology Director at Native Design since February 2021. In this role, they collaborate with senior client stakeholders to assist them in realizing their digital transformation plans.

Before joining Native Design, Ben served as the Director at Longplay Digital from March 2018 to December 2022. Ben provided guidance to organizations of all sizes, helping them navigate the digital landscape and achieve their goals.

Prior to that, Ben worked as a Consulting Partner at Wunderman Thompson from June 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they provided consulting services and strategic advice to clients.

From November 2008 to March 2018, Ben held the position of Head of Digital Transformation at Virgin Media. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in driving digital transformation initiatives within the company.

Before that, Ben worked at LBi UK as the Client Director from October 2007 to November 2008 and as the Head of Interactive Engineering from June 2006 to October 2007. Additionally, they served as the Head of Interface Development at Framfab UK from June 2005 to June 2006 and Oyster Partners from June 2003 to June 2005.

Throughout their career, Ben has worked with a diverse range of industries, including large blue-chip multinationals and innovative start-ups.

Ben Cotton earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos from Cambridge University in 1995. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Nonlinear Dynamics and a Doctorate in the same field from an unspecified institution, completing their studies in 1996 and 1999, respectively. In 2016, they attended INSEAD and completed the CTAM Executive Management Programme, specializing in Connectivity, Entertainment & Media.
