Native Restoration Services, Inc. (NRS) is a small ecological restoration company founded in 2006. NRS is based out of Lake Bluff, IL and specializes in woodland, prairie, and wetland restoration via removal of invasive plant species, natural areas stewardship, planting and seeding natives, and prescription burns. 

NRS primarily works throughout Lake County, southeast WI, Cook County, and as far west as Oregon, IL. Our clients make up a 50:50 ratio of public and private lands, including but not limited to residences, corporations, rights of way, nature preserves, forest preserve districts, park districts, municipalities, and government agencies (Illinois and Wisconsin Departments of Natural Resources).

NRS employees are trained to distinguish between native and alien plants. All personnel performing herbicide activities possess an Illinois Herbicide Operator or Applicator license. Furthermore, our employees have completed S-130/S-190 and Chicago Wilderness Midwest Ecological Prescription Burn training program and completed numerous burns with NRS.
