Patrick Kurka

Patrick Kurka has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Patrick began their career as a Financial Advisor at H&R Block Financial Advisors, where they built client relationships and developed financial plans to help clients achieve their financial objectives. Patrick held this position from 1999 to 2003.

From 2002 to 2003, Kurka worked as a Mortgage Banking Specialist at Ohio Savings Bank, specializing in mortgage banking.

Patrick then joined Ohio Savings Bank/AMTrust Bank as a Client Management Analyst in 2003, where they reviewed customer relationships to determine profitability and business opportunities within the mortgage sector. Patrick held this role until 2004.

Kurka then transitioned to FirstMerit Bank as an Operations Analyst and Integration/Merger Project Leader from 2004 to 2014. In this role, they oversaw integration and merger projects and served as an officer within the organization.

Since 2014, Kurka has been working at National Interstate Insurance Company. Patrick started as a Business Analyst in the Project Management Office, where they developed business requirements and functional specifications for system enhancement projects, coordinated system implementations, and provided consultative support for process improvement initiatives. In 2018, they were promoted to Project Manager in the same department.

Throughout their career, Kurka has demonstrated a strong understanding of project management, business analysis, and finance.

Patrick Kurka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from Baldwin Wallace University, completing their education from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Agile Scrum Alliance™ in December 2017 and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the same institution in September 2017.
