Alyssa Carson is an experienced astronaut in training and accomplished advocate for STEM education, actively building a resume for potential astronaut roles with NASA or the Commercial Space Industry. Currently serving as an ambassador for the Cosmic Girls Foundation and the Silhouette Group, Alyssa inspires young girls in STEM fields. As an astronautical science researcher and candidate at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences, Alyssa contributes to scientific publications and technology development. Other roles include serving as the director of communications at Forever in Space, a STEM education ambassador at Fisher Space Pen Co., and a young leader for the SDGs recognized by the United Nations. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science in Astrobiology and is pursuing an M.S. and Ph.D. in Space and Planetary Sciences at the University of Arkansas.
