Andrew Etherden

Andrew Etherden has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as an Accountant at NATO since October 2019. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Global Accounting Specialist at IKEA Group from December 2013 to September 2019, where responsibilities included promoting a unified global accounting framework and overseeing accounting and reporting in the Order to Cash process. Andrew also held the position of Finance Manager at Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council from March 2011 to December 2013, managing a team focused on financial analysis, debt reduction, and closedown processes. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Accountant and Accountant at Manchester City Council from April 2005 to March 2011, where Andrew was involved in budget preparation, financial reporting, and managing financial systems. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science from Bangor University (1998-2001).
