Benjamin Patterson is an experienced data analyst currently employed at NATO since December 2019, focusing on integrating data analytics and machine learning into information environment assessments to aid senior leaders in decision-making. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as the Cyber Security/Information Warfare Program Editor and Project Manager at the NATO Association of Canada, managing publications and outreach events, and co-founded the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Canada, where efforts included event planning and networking. Additionally, Benjamin co-founded The Voice of Ituri, a non-profit aimed at developing freedom of information networks in Eastern Congo. Prior consultancy work for NATO involved outreach to Canadian youth, and early experience included an internship at Vondette Law. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a focus on Security and Conflict from Simon Fraser University.
