Jan Bäumer

Jan Bäumer is a seasoned professional in risk, crisis, and disaster management. Having completed internships at Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe and Feuerwehr Siegen, Jan later served as a Junior Consultant at IUGITAS GmbH. Presently, Jan is a Policy Advisor for Critical Infrastructure Protection at the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) and a Civil NATO Expert in the same field. Additionally, Jan is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Rescue Engineering at TH Köln, where they also worked as a Student Research Assistant.
