Luke O'Brien

Luke O'Brien is a seasoned professional in cyber security and digital transformation, currently serving as a Principal Engineer in Cyber Defence at NATO since August 2023 and as a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultant for the British Army since July 2022. Formerly, Luke held the position of Cyber Security Operations Manager at easyJet and the Royal Air Force, where responsibilities included leading cyber operations and managing extensive operational cyber units. With prior experience as SOC Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence and in various roles within the Royal Air Force, Luke has developed expertise in managing sensitive information networks and delivering communication services to military personnel. Academically, Luke holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton and an Advanced Diploma in Communications Management from the University of Lincoln, among other credentials.
