Martin Ryan

Martin Ryan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in military and political advisory roles. Currently serving as Deputy Political Advisor at NATO since August 2021, Ryan previously held key positions such as Deputy Director and Acting Director at the US Army CID Investigation Unit, and Chief for the Europe/Eurasia/NATO team at Army Staff, leading US Army engagement with 45 nations. Additional impactful roles include Chief of Force Generation for NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan, Military Advisor at the US State Department for security negotiations, and Assistant Army Attaché at the US Embassy. Ryan's career began as a Field Artillery Officer, culminating in a robust background in military operations and diplomacy.
