Michael Angerer

Michael Angerer has a diverse background in defense and military policy, having served in various roles within NATO and national defense ministries. They began their career as a student at the Instituut Defensie Leergangen from 2008 to 2009 before working as a Desk Officer at the Bundesministerium der Verteidigung from 2009 to 2013. Angerer then held multiple positions at NATO, including Deputy Director of the Policy & Capabilities Division from 2015 to 2018 and Executive Officer for the same division from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, they worked as a Project Officer for IMS Functional Adaptation at NATO Headquarters from 2020 to 2021.
