Omer Hasret

Omer Hasret is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in security and risk management roles, currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Security and Risk Management at NATO since December 2008. Previously, Omer worked as an Information Security Manager at NATO and held various consulting and architectural positions at SecurIT, specializing in web security and PKI, as well as serving as a Software Architect for secure web applications at ING. Omer's earlier career includes work as an IT Architect at Belgacom and as a Research Expert at TUBITAK - UEKAE, focusing on PKI and digital signature technology in military contexts. Omer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bilkent University in 2000.
