R. Scott Mortimer

R. Scott Mortimer is an experienced engineer specializing in quality assurance and information security audits at NATO since November 2005, currently serving as the NATO Quality Assurance Representative. Previous roles at NATO include Head of Automated Information Systems and Cyber Security Operations, providing critical support to the Deployable Air Command and Control Centre, and Senior INFOSEC Analyst, focusing on cyber defense and information security solutions for NATO Headquarters. Prior to NATO, Mortimer held a Systems Administrator position and managed a team of helpdesk technicians in the United States Air Force from September 1996 to October 2005. Mortimer also served as an Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force from June 1987 to April 1994, earning commendations during Operation Desert Storm. Mortimer holds an A.A.S. in Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
