Wouter Maroy

Wouter Maroy is a seasoned professional in enterprise architecture and cloud computing, currently serving as the Head of the Enterprise Architecture Section in the Office of the CIO at NATO since January 2023. Maroy has played a key role in leading cloud computing initiatives and coordinating policy changes within NATO. Previously, Maroy worked at Deloitte as a Manager in Cloud Engineering, overseeing the transition of on-premise systems to cloud solutions. Prior experience includes a research role at imec's IDLab, focusing on Big Data technologies, and mentoring and development positions at DBpedia during Google Summer of Code. Maroy holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ghent University.
