Desmet Els

Desmet Els has extensive experience in product development and management within the food industry, specifically with Natra since May 2009, serving as both Product Developer and Product Management Coordinator. Prior to Natra, Desmet worked as a Research Coordinator at Research Center Hoogstraten from April 2006 to January 2009, overseeing trial programs and advising growers. Desmet's career also includes a role as a Policy Employee at the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain from August 2004 to March 2006, focused on policy development and implementation for primary plant production. Additionally, Desmet served as a Project Leader at the University Ghent - Centre for Herbology from February 2003 to July 2004, coordinating research programs and building networks. Educationally, Desmet holds a Master's degree in Bioscience Engineering from Ghent University.
