Allison Laskey is currently an Associate Editor at Nature Portfolio since 2023, focusing on interdisciplinary urban discourse through the Nature Cities platform. Previously, Laskey served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Wayne State University from December 2019 to 2023, conducting research on urban infrastructure resilience related to water and public health. Laskey holds a PhD in Urban and Environmental Planning & Policy from the University of California, Irvine, where research centered on community development in Detroit. Additionally, Laskey has experience as a Research Assistant at the IDA Science and Technology Policy Institute, providing policy advice to federal offices, and started as an intern at the same institute.
