Marçal Capdevila-Cortada

Marçal Capdevila-Cortada is a Senior Editor at Nature Catalysis, where they have worked since October 2017, focusing on heterogeneous catalysis topics including electrocatalysis and computational catalysis. Prior to this role, they were a postdoctoral associate at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) from 2014 to 2017, studying the catalytic properties of reducible oxides. Marçal received a PhD in chemistry from the University of Barcelona in 2014, and has conducted research at various prestigious institutions, including University College London, Georgia Tech, and the University of Utah. They also hold bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Barcelona.
