Stuart Cantrill

Stuart Cantrill is an accomplished editorial leader in the scientific community, currently serving as Editorial Director of Nature Journals for Physics & Chemistry and Chief Editor of Nature Chemistry since January 2006 at Nature Portfolio. Previously, Stuart held positions as Associate/Senior Editor for Nature Nanotechnology and as a Lecturer and Research Associate at UCLA, where responsibilities included managing the Organic Letters office for the American Chemical Society. Earlier academic experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Caltech under the guidance of Bob Grubbs. Stuart earned a PhD in Chemistry from UCLA and holds both an MPhil and BSc Hons in Chemistry and Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Birmingham.
