Aaron Bilyea is the chief marketing officer at the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), responsible for marketing programs, brand management, direct response fundraising, events, and corporate sponsorships.
Prior to joining NCC in 2014, he worked in strategic marketing and business development roles within the consumer-packaged goods industry, including Molson Coors Canada and Six Pints Specialty Beer Company. Aaron was the director, of national marketing and specialty sales where he managed the brand strategy and execution of marketing and business development initiatives across multiple channels while directing organizational planning, innovation, and corporate strategy.
Aaron’s volunteerism and passion for nature led him to NCC, where he now uses his marketing expertise into growing public support and commitment to conservation.
Aaron's greatest strengths are his creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership. He thrives on new challenges, particularly those that drive digital innovation and expand NCC’s reach to new audiences.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring new trails with his wife, kids, and wheaten terrier. Aaron also continues to be an active tree planter in his community and immerses himself in nature every day.
