Amanda Tracey

Conservation Policy Manager

Amanda Tracey is a seasoned conservation professional and educator with extensive experience in ecology and evolutionary biology. Currently serving as a Conservation Policy Manager and Acting Public Sector Partnerships Manager at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Amanda has previously held the position of Coordinator for Conservation Biology in Central Ontario East. In academia, Amanda is a Course Instructor and Developer at the University of Guelph, responsible for re-developing the Plant Identification course and guiding students in various subjects. Prior roles include Retail Supervisor at Burt's Greenhouses, Library Assistant at Kingston Frontenac Public Library, and Outreach Coordinator at Let's Talk Science. Amanda holds a PhD, MSc, and BScH in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Queen's University, demonstrating a strong foundation in research and environmental education.
