Annie Lam Cpa

Annie Lam has extensive experience in finance and strategic leadership roles. Annie currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Nature Conservancy of Canada/Conservation de la nature Canada, where they provide strategic leadership to the finance function. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer for Fleming College, where they successfully managed the organization's financial position. Annie also held the role of Director, Finance Systems & Strategy at OLG, where they led a broad range of functional finance and operations areas. Earlier in their career, they were the Director of Project Finance at Canada Health Infoway, where they managed federal funds and oversaw various health care projects. Before that, Annie worked at Bell Canada as an Associate Director of Finance, overseeing transformational change projects and managing large-scale billing implementations. Annie also has experience in the private sector, having worked as a Senior Business Consultant at The Coca-Cola Company and as a Controller at Cable & Wireless Communications. Annie began their career at EY as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services.

Annie Lam CPA, CITP, MBA has a diverse education history. Annie completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Honors at CUHK Business School. Following that, they pursued an Executive Leadership Program from Queen's University in 2004. Additionally, Annie obtained their Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Smith School of Business at Queen's University between 2006 and 2008, majoring in Business Administration and Management.

Annie has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Annie became a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) in March 2020 from the AICPA. In May 2020, they became Microsoft Certified for Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (MB-901). Annie also holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Six Sigma Canada Inc. Lastly, Annie Lam is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from CPA Canada, which they achieved in 2001.

Recently, Annie attended the September 2022 Finance Transformation Series Event conducted by BlackLine to further expand their expertise.
