Caroline Petit

Caroline Petit is a skilled project manager currently working at Conservation de la Nature Canada as a project leader for Montagnes vertes du Nord since July 2023. Prior experience includes managing ecosystem evaluation projects and developing nature-based solutions at Habitat from May 2021 to July 2023. Caroline's professional journey also includes a role as a research agent with the Chaire de recherche du Canada en économie écologique, where responsibilities included coordinating and drafting a white paper on conservation planning and conducting studies on wildlife conservation indicators. Previous positions involved working as a biologist with Habitat and Progigraph, focusing on urban forestry, territory management for First Nations, and ecosystem service valuation. Caroline holds a Master's degree in applied science in sustainable management of forest ecosystems from UQAM, a year of a Master's degree in conservation biology from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Bachelor's degree in biology from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
