Craig Harding has extensive experience in conservation science and environmental planning, currently serving as the Program Director of the Nature + Climate Accelerator at the Nature Conservancy of Canada since March 2015. Previous roles include Director of Conservation Science and Planning and Acting Senior Director of Conservation at the same organization, as well as a Terrestrial/Plant Field Technician at the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute, where important biodiversity data was gathered throughout Alberta. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Cape Town, where research focused on tracking African penguins, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Evolution and Ecology from Western University. Prior research experience spans various species and ecological studies, involving techniques such as radio biotelemetry and mist netting, alongside significant leadership and management roles in environmental consulting.
