Kandyce Affleck

Kandyce Affleck is an experienced conservation professional with a focus on biodiversity and ecosystem restoration. Currently serving as an Assistant Conservation Biologist at the Nature Conservancy of Canada since May 2022, Kandyce has previously held various roles, including Lands Technician and Conservation Lands Clerk at the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, where responsibilities included developing management plans and assisting with trail maintenance. Earlier experience includes positions as a Field Biologist at Natural Resource Solutions Inc., where Kandyce conducted mortality surveys and habitat mapping, and as a Prairie Restoration Technician at the Essex Region Conservation Authority, focusing on invasive species management and ecosystem restoration. Kandyce holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Windsor and a Post Graduate Certificate in Ecosystem Restoration from Niagara College.
