Kristie Wegener

Kristie Wegener is the Director of Conservation for the Rocky Mountain Front at Nature Conservancy of Canada. With a background that includes positions as a Conservation Coordinator and Manager, they have extensive experience in managing conservation agreements, conducting ecological assessments, and overseeing staff in Southwestern Alberta. Wegener holds a Post Diploma Degree in Biology with a focus on Environmental Science from the University of Lethbridge, as well as diplomas in Renewable Resource Management and Fish and Wildlife Technology from Lethbridge Community College. They are skilled in GIS mapping, project proposal writing, and have a strong commitment to habitat conservation through various initiatives.
