Snehal Verma has had a diverse and impressive career. Snehal is currently a Top Innovator at UpLink - World Economic Forum. Prior to this, they were a Melissa and Doug Entrepreneur at Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a Climate Resilient Coasts and Watersheds Fellow at Environmental Defense Fund, a Fulbright-Nehru Masters Fellow at Duke University, an Independent Consultant at Tetra Tech, and an Independent Consultant. Previously, they were the Programme Development Officer at Rivers, Wetlands and Water Policy Advocacy Division, WWF-India, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell Coordinator at Enterpreneurship Development Cell, IIFM, and a Research Associate Intern at Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Snehal co-founded and served as Director of NatureDots, innovating, strategizing, and hustling with a dynamic purpose-driven, high caliber team to create resource-intelligent Nature-based systemic solutions integrated with DeepTech tools for managing the natural capital and contribute to a new nature-positive economy. Her innovations have been recognized, awarded, and supported by government and businesses.

Snehal Verma is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Management at Duke University from 2021 to 2023. Snehal is also pursuing a Masters of Environmental Management from the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment, focusing on Water, Wetlands, and Marine Resources Management. From 2017 to 2019, they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2019, they were part of the Anubhav Lecture Series Cohort of 2019 at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Snehal obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in 2011-2015. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in November 2021, Autonomous Robotics with Micro-controllers from IEEE, Delegate, COP21: A conference on climate change from UNFCCC, Hindustani Classical singing from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, and Object Oriented Programming with C++ from NIIT Media Technologies, LLC.
