Jay Spencer

Jay Spencer is currently working as a Software Developer at Naturescape since March 2022. Prior to this, Jay was a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from January 2018 to June 2021, focusing on researching and designing a Streptococcus pyogenes vaccine. During this time, Jay utilized Python for computational design and vaccine development. Jay also had experience working as a Food Service Worker at The Dollywood Company from April 2013 to September 2016, providing excellent customer service in a team-oriented environment. Jay holds a PhD in Biotechnology Science and Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
