Alan Aitken

Alan Aitken is currently the Public Affairs Manager at NatureScot, a role they have held since 2022. Previously, they served as a Campaign Organiser for The Labour Party, where they developed communication systems and coordinated campaigns, including the notable "Save Our Hospital" initiative. Alan has also worked as a Caseworker for Anas Sarwar MP and as a Parliamentary Researcher for Gordon Banks MP, managing office tasks and conducting research. Between 2015 and 2018, they were a Senior Associate in Public Affairs at Burson-Marsteller and held the position of Policy Manager for Health and Social Care at COSLA from 2019 to 2022.
