I am involved in the regular updating of existing marine biodiversity indicators and, where relevant, development of new indicators to ensure that the suite of indicators used accurately reflects the current state of Scotland’s marine biodiversity.

I am also involved in marine reporting and assessment linked to Scotland’s Marine Assessment, the UK Marine Strategy, European sites and OSPAR, as well as any future reporting and assessment related to the Natural Environment Bill and the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy.
