Ross Lilley

Head of Natural Resource Management

Ross Lilley is the Head of Natural Resource Management at NatureScot, a position they have held since 1992. They served as Operations Manager for Scottish Natural Heritage from 2011 to 2019, overseeing protected areas and project management in the region. Ross has also contributed to various organizations as a Board Trustee for Taynuilt Sports Council since 2024, Call Out Manager for the Oban Mountain Rescue Team, and Chairman of both the Argyll & The Isles Coast & Countryside Trust and Loch Eck Orienteering Club since 2019. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from the University of Aberdeen and a Master's in Natural Resource Management from The University of Edinburgh.
