Tom Walker is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing high-performing teams and driving strategic initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at NatWest Boxed, Tom leads the core banking and lending mission. Previously, they held significant roles such as Director of Engineering at HeliosX Group, where they expanded the engineering team while improving quality and productivity, and Engineering Manager at Big Health, where they delivered a successful mental health product. Tom also has a strong background in finance and risk management from their time at Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse. They hold a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh and a degree in Philosophy and Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
