Nav is a commuter app and urban mobility platform delivering accurate arrival estimates, end-to-end journey planning, and crowding insights. Built for Melbourne and designed to scale, Nav uses advanced modelling and local insights to deliver trusted, timely information that riders can rely on. Our approach focuses on improving commuter confidence and simplifying multi-modal trips so users no longer need to switch between several apps to plan one journey.

Why Nav matters: unreliable arrival times and fragmented trip planning push people back into cars, increasing congestion and emissions. Shifting even a modest share of car trips to public transport can significantly reduce urban CO₂ and improve liveability. Nav supports this shift by restoring trust in public transport through dependable timing, a seamless user experience and non-intrusive in-app features that keep journeys simple and stress-free.

Nav is pilot-ready, with prototypes validated by more than 100 survey respondents and refinement through RMIT ReLaunch and industry feedback sessions. Our roadmap includes a two to three-month pilot, an MVP release by year-end, and expansion across Australian cities while engaging with transport partners to improve service delivery and urban planning.
