Benoit Gautier

Benoit Gautier has extensive experience in the field of composite materials and naval architecture, currently serving as the Responsable bureau d'études composites at NAVAL GROUP since 2012, where Benoit leads a team of 14 and oversees composite equipment projects in Lorient. Prior to this role, Benoit held positions as Ingénieur Coque & Structures Avant-Projets and Ingénieur Coque & Structures, focusing on submarines, including the BARRACUDA project. Benoit’s career also includes relevant experience at Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie from 2007 to 2012 as an Ingénieur Coque & Structures and at SHORETEAM as an Ingénieur Matériaux composites. Educational background includes a Master in Architecture Navale from Chalmers University of Technology, an engineering degree in composite materials from Polytech Annecy-Chambéry, and a DUT in Science and Engineering of Materials from IUT de Saint-Brieuc.
