Eric Bucher is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in propulsion system architecture and heat exchanger design. Currently serving as the Mechanical Engineering Manager at DCNS since July 2009, Eric manages departmental activities focused on component justification and performance improvement. Previous roles at DCNS include Heat Exchanger Product Manager and Heat Exchanger Design Manager, where responsibilities encompassed design management, manufacturing oversight, and compliance with industry standards for nuclear applications. Prior to DCNS, Eric worked at Delphi Diesel Systems as a software development engineer for engine control, focusing on software validation. Eric holds an engineering degree in Thermal-Energetics with a focus on Thermomechanics from Polytech’ Nantes, complemented by technical qualifications from Lycée la Joliverie.
