Mathilde Renault

Mathilde Renault is currently an Ingénieur recherche/développement at NAVAL GROUP, engaged in a CIFRE thesis focused on the influence of surface state on fatigue properties of structures manufactured by arc-wire additive manufacturing. The research involves developing characterization methods, including microstructure analysis, surface state indicators, and residual stress measurements. Prior experience includes a role as Ingénieur de recherche at IRDL, conducting bibliographic research on surface treatments for additive manufacturing, and working as an Ingénieur calcul de structure at EDF, where structural design of lock gates was undertaken. Additional experience encompasses characterization of multifunctional elastomers at Deutsches Institut für Kautschuktechnologie and an introductory industrial internship at GE. Mathilde Renault possesses a Master Recherche in Mechanical Engineering and an Engineering degree from ENSTA, complemented by preparatory classes in PCSI-PC at Lycée Louis Pasteur.
