David Johnston

David Johnston is a Chief Data & AI Scientist at Navalia, where they leverage over 30 years of experience in data analysis and statistical methodologies. Previously, they served as Principal Data Scientist at ThoughtWorks, contributing to the founding of its analytics practice. David has held research positions at prestigious institutions, including Princeton University, Northwestern University, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Fermilab, focusing on cosmological and astrophysical research. They earned a BS with Highest Honors in Physics and Math from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago.
