Matthew Mok

Matthew Mok is a Senior Data Scientist currently at Navan, with a robust background in data science and machine learning gained through previous roles at Granular and Instart Logic Inc. Notable achievements include automating the summarization of approximately 80TB of daily network data, resulting in enhanced system performance insights, and successfully reducing multimedia file sizes while maintaining quality. Matthew has expertise in developing machine learning models for event recognition and image analysis, as well as co-developing the Perceptual Speed Index utilized in WebPagetest and Google Chrome's Lighthouse project. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, where Matthew contributed to significant research projects involving image classification and dimensionality reduction techniques.
