Dongjin Sim

Dongjin Sim is a Machine Learning Engineer at NAVER Corp since October 2020, focusing on machine learning models in advertising and recommendation systems, including a semantic product search engine, query intent classification model, and e-commerce recommendation model. Prior to this, Dongjin Sim worked as a researcher at ETRI, where an AI for video understanding and a large-scale road traffic simulation software were developed. Experience includes a research internship at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, where a high-dimensional tensor data analysis algorithm was created, and an internship at Samsung SDS. Early career involved software development at Codigm, where Goorm IDE, a cloud-based coding tool, was developed. Dongjin Sim holds a Master’s degree in Computing from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Software from Sungkyunkwan University.
