Sunil Kumar

Sunil Kumar has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2014. Sunil began their career as a Founder of DiGyan, where they demonstrated excellent entrepreneurial skills. Sunil then moved on to be a Research Associate (Postdoc) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, working on various projects and applying their skills in enzyme characterization and protein purification. In 2015, they became a Postdoc at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2018, they joined the Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Oncological Sciences at the Türk Tıbbi Onkoloji Derneği - Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, and also became an Editorial Board Member of Chemical Biology Letters at iScienceIn. In 2019, they joined the Editorial Board Member of 4Open at EDP Sciences. Most recently, in 2021 they joined NAVERIS as Lead Staff Scientist and Scientific Lead, Technology Development.

Sunil Kumar has an extensive educational background. Sunil obtained their High School diploma from Bokaro Ispat Senior Secondary School, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Sunil then completed their Bachelor's Degree in Zoology (Hons) from Delhi University between 2000 and 2003. Subsequently, they obtained their Master's Degree in Life Sciences from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya between 2003 and 2005. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biosciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2013. Additionally, Sunil Kumar has obtained several certifications, including a CITI Human Subjects Research Certification from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in 2020, Chartered Scientist (CSci) and Chartered Biologist (CBiol) from the Royal Society of Biology in 2019, Building Professional Relationships from LinkedIn in 2019, and an Advance Diploma in Computer Application in 1998.
