Julene Smith

Julene Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julene most recently worked at NAVEX as the Associate Vice President of Talent Development. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director and Director of Talent Development at the same company. Before NAVEX, Julene worked at Teach For America, where they held various roles including Director of Teaching and Learning, Director of Onboarding and Matriculation, School Director, Corps Member Advisor, and Manager of Teacher Leadership Development. Julene also has experience as a 5th Grade Teacher and Grade Level Chair at Buckeye Middle School. Julene began their career as an English Language Teacher at the Ministère de l'éducation nationale.

Julene Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religious Studies and French from the University of Oregon. Julene also has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) from IDI, LLC.
