Kiersten Hake

Kiersten Hake, CPTD, has a diverse work experience in the field of learning and development. Kiersten currently holds the position of Director, Sales Learning & Talent Development at NAVEX since December 2022.

Before joining NAVEX, Kiersten worked at CPI Security from 2015 to 2022. During their time at CPI Security, they held various roles, including Learning and Development Manager, Sales Training Manager, Field (Outside) Sales Trainer, and Inside Sales Trainer. In these roles, they led and developed a team of trainers and instructional designers, investigated performance gaps, proposed solutions, and utilized data to improve training programs. Kiersten also played a key role in new hire onboarding, developed training materials, and facilitated trainings for different departments.

Prior to CPI Security, Kiersten worked at LocalEdge from 2011 to 2015, where they served as a Multi-Media Training Manager and a Digital Media Executive. In these positions, they trained new hires on products and sales skills, consulted with businesses on online marketing and advertising, and recommended marketing products for improved ROI.

Kiersten's earlier experience includes working at ATC Systems, Inc from 2008 to 2011. Kiersten held the roles of Group Sales Director and Assistant Marketing, where they managed sales consultants, trained them on products and services, and set up sales appointments for office representatives.

Additionally, Kiersten has coaching experience as an Assistant Varsity Tennis Coach at Starpoint Central School District from 2006 to 2009. In this role, they assisted the head coach in developing athletes, coached them on game skills, and organized clinics, practices, and matches.

Kiersten Hake, CPTD, completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Niagara University from 2006 to 2010. Kiersten has obtained several additional certifications, including Certified Professional in Talent Development from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in 2020, and virtual training and facilitation certification from Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2022. Kiersten also holds certifications in creating leadership development programs, management development, designing learning, and is a Certified Instructor and Facilitator from Langevin Learning Services. Additionally, they received Alarm Board certification and Google AdWords certification in 2015.
