Navid Initiative & Development Institute (NIDI) is transforming Iran’s social sector by pioneering Venture Philanthropy and Impact Investing. Since 2021, we have moved beyond traditional charity models, applying professional, business-driven strategies to catalyze sustainable social change.

◾️ Our Operational Model
We support Social Purpose Organizations (SPOs), ranging from non-profits to innovative social enterprises, through a variety of modalities:

✔︎ Diversified Financial Investment: We employ a strategic toolkit of funding mechanisms tailored to the maturity and needs of our partners. This includes direct grants, milestone-based funding, and outcome-focused financial support, ensuring capital is deployed efficiently to maximize social return.

✔︎ Capacity Building: We go beyond financing. We provide technical assistance, operational mentorship, and strategic guidance to strengthen organizational structures and enhance scalability.

✔︎ Impact Management: We utilize rigorous monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to ensure accountability, measure tangible social outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.

◾️ Our Mission
We aim to foster a more resilient and equitable future for vulnerable populations in Iran by focusing on three core pillars:

1. Education: Increasing accessibility and quality of learning.
2. Health: Enhancing healthcare standards and access.
3. Livelihoods: Improving living standards and promoting economic self-sufficiency.

◾️ Who We Are
NIDI is driven by a fast-growing team with extensive knowledge and expertise. Our members bring together deep-rooted experience in the non-profit sector, complemented by professionals from the investment, finance, and management consulting industries.
