Wayne Wei

Wayne Wei is a skilled technical account manager at NavVis since March 2021, bringing extensive experience in architecture, engineering, and BIM. Wayne's career includes positions as a research assistant at The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, where research focused on the integrated processing of point clouds and image data for 3D model generation in heritage and BIM sectors. Additional experience includes an architect internship at the Design Institute of Southwest Guizhou Autonomous Prefecture, assisting in detail drawings, and serving as an assistant quantity surveyor at Gleeds, where communication efficiencies in the tendering process were improved. As a BIM intern at ECADI, Wayne developed 3D modeling skills and coordinated multidisciplinary efforts, while leading BIM and reality capture initiatives at WeWork, creating digital twins and virtual tours to enhance project delivery.
