Matt Mathis, MPA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Construction at NAYA since October 2025. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Shake Shack, where Matt held multiple roles including Director of Real Estate Development, Entitlements and Compliance, and Senior Manager of Real Estate Development from 2017 to September 2025. Previous positions also include Programs Manager at Subscript Law, Director of Research at Avalara, and Real Estate Paralegal at Johnson & Borenstein, LLC. Additionally, Matt has coaching experience as a Varsity Football Coach at Albertus Magnus High School and has worked as a Legal Assistant and Personal Trainer. Matt holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Criminology from Merrimack College.
