Erik Nylen

Erik Nylen is currently the Associate Vice President and Data Science Lead at the NBA, where they apply their extensive expertise in data science. Previously, they held positions as Senior Director of Data Science at the NBA and Head of Data Science at Parsec Media. Erik completed a PhD in Neural Science at New York University, where they researched the neural basis of hearing, following their MS and BSE in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa. Their work includes significant contributions to various scientific publications and the development of advanced data analysis tools.
