Hernando Planells

Hernando Planells is the Technical Director at the NBA Basketball School in Dubai, where they manage a team of 14 coaches and oversee the development of over 450 athletes. With a diverse background in basketball coaching, Hernando has served in various roles, including Associate Head Women's Basketball Coach at Duke University and Head Coach for teams in the NBA G-League and internationally. They are also the founder of Be Contagious, an initiative focused on leadership development and communication, and a podcast host. Hernando holds a BS in Public Administration from Regis University and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to building winning cultures in sports and beyond.
